Good Storage and Distribution Practices – Pharmaceutical (WHO Standards)

The pharmaceutical supply chain is constantly exposed to the threat of counterfeit products or incorrect storage and distribution of products, which is of serious concern in both developed and developing countries. To mitigate this risk, every activity in the distribution of pharmaceutical products should be carried out according to the principles of good storage practice (GSP) and good distribution practice (GDP) as applicable.
