Strategic Management System Training (Based on principles of the balanced score card)
Course Overview
This intensive 4-day course is set into two sessions of two days each;
Session 1: introduces participants to the concept of a strategic management system and how to conduct an analysis of the internal and external environments of a business using various tools. Internal Analysis includes a thorough review of the current strategic orientation of the company defined by the mission and vision, financial position, products (pricing, marketing and distribution), existing customers, people and processes. External Analysis involves review of the competitors, potential business and markets and the Macro Environment (PESTLE)
Session 2:Equipped with knowledge on how to analyze the current strategic position of the organization, participants learn how to develop the company mission – why are they in business?vision – where do they want the go? The competitive advantage – What sets them apart from the competition?strategic priorities, goals and objectives.
